Images on my website look different
Images look blurry
When you upload images to your Say I do website, they are slightly compressed to optimise the file size and ensure faster loading times for your guests. This compression is done to strike a balance between picture quality and website performance.
While the images may appear slightly compressed, the impact on picture quality should be minimal. It's more focused on reducing the file size for efficient loading. This way, your guests can quickly view and enjoy the photos without any significant delays.
If you're experiencing unusually blurry images, there might be other factors at play. It can help to review the images you are uploading to check for blurriness in the source image. You should also try to keep to our recommended image sizes when uploading images.
Image colours are different
If the colours are appearing different on your live website, it can be to do with the image colour settings conflicting with our image compression system (which is used to speed up your website). If this is happening, you can try exporting your images using different colour settings, or even creating a screenshot of the image and using that instead – this will create a new image with new colour settings so can sometimes resolve the problem.
