Ask Questions to Some Guests and Not Others

We know that not all questions are relevant to all guests. You might only want to ask some guests questions while leaving other guests to RSVP without wondering about questions that don't apply to them.

We make it easy to ask RSVP questions to some guests and not others based on whether they are invited to particular events within your wedding, or whether they are an adult or child.

For example:

  • Ask the meal choice only to guests who are invited to the reception
  • Ask guests who are invited to stay the weekend when they will be arriving
  • Ask all adults which meals they want from the main menu, while asking the children to choose from the kids menu

To ask only some guests an RSVP question based on whether they are invited to an event:

  1. Create an event that you would like to attach it to. For example, if you are asking meal choice to Reception guests, you would add the Reception event
  2. Turn on RSVP and Privacy on this event
  3. Create your RSVP question by going to RSVP > RSVP Questions > New Question
  4. Under Ask Question To select 'Guests who are invited to selected event'
  5. Then select the event you created earlier

To ask a question based on whether the guest is an adult/child:

  1. When adding a guest, select whether they are an adult or a child
  2. Create your RSVP question by going to RSVP > RSVP Questions > New Question
  3. Under Ask Question To select 'All Adults' or 'All Children'

Of course, you can create questions that get shown to all your guests. Speaking of questions, do you have one for us? Get in touch and let us know!
