Can I ask questions to guests after they have submitted their RSVP?
All custom RSVP questions are added to the RSVP form and cannot be asked independently of RSVP. So if you need to gather more information after your guests have already submitted their RSVP, you have two options.
Option 1:
Add the custom question, and ask your guests to re-submit their RSVP. Note that their entire RSVP will be overwritten, so guests need to be sure to answer all the questions again. You might wish to take a backup by downloading your guest list before doing this, in case anybody forgets their original answers.
Option 2:
If you do not wish to have your guests submit their RSVP again, you can use this workaround:
- Add the custom RSVP question as normal
- Send an Announcement (or contact them another way) to your guests asking them the question, and have them reply to you directly
- Take the answers as they are provided and enter them into the corresponding column in the Guest List
